牛肉面 Lai Lai Taiwan Beef Noodles

Had dinner at Lai Lai Family Restaurant.

Ordered the Set Meal (S$12.90) which includes a big bowl of Beef Noodles, one plate of side dishes and a cup of Bubble Milk Tea. I choose the Salt Pepper Crispy Chicken as my side dishes.

The Beef noodles was wonderful. Noodles was soft, yet retains the texture. Soup was very sweet and full of beef broth flavour. But the star of the nooldes was the beef cube. The chef was very generous with the beef cubes. The beef cubes achieved a "melt-in-you-mouth" texture.

I love the Salt Pepper Crispy Chicken too. Chicken meat was cripsy and flavourful, and the 九层塔 Herbal Leaves goes very well with the chicken pieces. A joy to munch on this side dish.

The Bubble Tea was ok, nothing special.

ate there before...nice food...got set meal for 4...$50 nett:)

Liang Seah Street is across bugis junction. The place got very nice staff too. I'm not sure if they still have the card stamping system. I actually got enough points to get a free one-year Popular card! Oh ya, their food is really nice. :)
